I was just as excited about coming into this world, as I am about experiencing it to its fullest, having been delivered in a car in the hospital car park by my Dad in Perth, Australia. It was no coincidence they named me CAR-ly and my life has been an adventure ever since. 

 

Whilst I’m an Aussie beach babe at heart, and I currently reside between Bali and the Gold Coast, I’ve lived in 9 cities around the world, and I look forward to a future where I will tick off more! 

 

I spent my childhood and former part of my career surrounded by pets, on outdoor adventures, creating in the kitchen, drawing, designing and dressing up. As most of my friends went on to be lawyers and doctors, I launched my fashion label when I was 18, while studying Fashion Design, which inspired me to live and work in London for one of the first online retailers, Top Shop.

 

I grew up in an environment with smart, loving, creative, entrepreneurial parents, who always supported me and my unconventional path. By the age of 30, I was at the top of my game with my career, I was with a man who wanted to marry me, and I was about to buy a house. I had followed all the rules to become successful and happy. But I wasn’t. 

 

They say our biggest lessons come from our biggest challenges, and in 2016 I was completely and utterly burnt out. I decided to travel the world for two years to heal and grow through experiences like a ten day silent retreat, living in an off grid treehouse in Guatemala for three months, and ten days in the Nevada Desert at the world's largest gathering, Burning Man.

 

My inner journey may have begun from burning out, but it will continue until the day I die. I’m passionate about personal growth (or being “gratefully dissatisfied” my good friend and coach at Mindvalley calls it) and the lessons and inspiration it provides my life and businesses.

Through my 'Land, Learn & Leverage Your TEDX Talk' program I serve a global community of changemakers who aspire to share their message on the TEDx stage. As the former Interim Head of Partnerships for a TEDx organisation, I help people fulfil that dream and create long lasting meaningful brands, with incredible mentoring from leaders in TEDx speaker training, filming, styling, marketing, branding, strategy and PR. Together, we can make the difference we wish to see in the world. 

 

I also love to help people uncover their full power and authentic essence for film and photos, through styling, sourcing and designing signature fashion pieces.  

 

My work is my creative expression of my life experiences and practical takeaways, and I’m excited to be providing custom made experiences and Carly Faragher Designs like my Archemono's - the essence of your vision board and unique archetype painted like a canvas on your very own silk kimono. 

 

I am profoundly connected to what I do, and more importantly the people I share it with.
